I had been moaning in regards to the time i had at friend’s farm, lets call him up Jim, to another friend, lets call her Claire. At time I thought I used to be describing what went down and that which was happening so she could understand it. My friend was patient beside me for a time. Then she thought to me “where have you been in most of this”. My first reaction was “I’m telling you”. Then I realised that a lot of of what I had shared with her was ready Jim and all he previously done and what he wanted me to do.

I was not present; I had been still depressed by moaning about this all. If I used to be present I might have been mindful of my choices and I would have chosen to act differently and I wouldn't be moaning. I decided at this stage to take responsibility for my actions and make choices consciously. I knew that this would benefit my aims of studying the farm, researching myself and being aware.
